3 mm is a common editable starting point. Use the product specification when it differs.
Uniform bleed is added to every edge. Safe area is inset from every trim edge. Pixel dimensions use the complete artwork size including bleed.
Three millimetres is a common starting point, not a universal requirement. The product and finishing specification always takes priority.
