For print, PDF files are usually best because they preserve high-resolution images, fonts, and layout consistency across devices. Unlike editable formats such as DOC files, a PDF should appear the same wherever it is opened.
When saving a PDF for print, use a high-quality or press-ready preset. This should embed fonts, maintain vector graphics, and apply the correct colour profile, usually CMYK or spot colours.
Other acceptable formats can include TIFF or EPS for images and vector artwork, but these are not always ideal, so check before supplying them.
Where possible, avoid using JPEG or PNG as the final print file unless they are genuinely high resolution and being used in a suitable way. If that is all you have, we are still happy to check it for you.
